Mining & industrial
Suitable low-grade or waste thermal energy in operations where power, heat management and site integration matter.

ThermaCore is exploring applications where a suitable thermal resource, site energy demand and practical integration requirements can be considered as one system.
Application landscape
The opportunity changes from site to site.
ThermaCore’s application work spans industrial operations, infrastructure and remote environments. The starting point is the site itself: its thermal resource, electrical and thermal demand, operating constraints and integration requirements.
Suitable low-grade or waste thermal energy in operations where power, heat management and site integration matter.
Distributed energy concepts for remote or constrained locations where resilience, access, service logistics and operating autonomy shape the engineering approach.
Communications infrastructure where continuity, remote visibility, maintainability and site constraints are central requirements.
Electrical demand and thermal-management requirements that can span multiple ThermaCore platform ranges, subject to site scale and conditions.
Larger infrastructure applications shaped around local thermal resources, physical interfaces and site-specific operating requirements.
Applications where electrical power, heating and chilling can be evaluated together as part of a wider site-energy strategy.
01 / Mining & industrial
Industrial sites can contain substantial thermal flows alongside significant electrical and thermal-management demand. ThermaCore is developing a pathway to assess whether those conditions can support an integrated application.
02 / Defence & remote
Remote and constrained sites change the engineering problem. Resilience, footprint, servicing, environmental exposure, operating autonomy and remote visibility all become part of the application case.
03 / Telecommunications
Telecommunications infrastructure can combine remote access, continuous-duty expectations and tight service constraints. ThermaCore is assessing how suitable platform configurations could support these environments, with final product fit remaining site-specific.
04 / Data centres
Data-centre environments concentrate electrical demand and thermal-management requirements in one operating system. This application can extend across multiple ThermaCore product ranges, depending on the scale and requirements of the site.
05 / Utilities & infrastructure
Larger infrastructure applications are shaped by validated platform performance and the physical, thermal and operational requirements of each site. Containerised configurations form part of ThermaCore’s larger-scale development direction.
06 / Energy integration
Some sites may benefit from evaluating electrical power, heating and chilling together rather than as isolated services. ThermaCore’s integrated-platform direction is intended to support that wider site-energy conversation where the thermal resource and operating case justify it.
Application qualification
Early application discussions should establish whether the site conditions justify deeper engineering work. Four questions matter before a product configuration does.
Temperature, flow, duration, variability and the conditions at the source and sink.
Electrical, heating and chilling requirements, including when and how they occur.
Location, access, climate, duty cycle, servicing, controls and infrastructure constraints.
The measurements, validation boundary and pilot objectives needed to support the next decision.
Application examples show areas of development interest, not installed projects or confirmed commercial performance. Final suitability depends on engineering assessment and validated system performance.
